Costs

Estimate
The interpreter advising you will submit an estimate of costs to allow you to draw up a budget. To do this they will need precise information from you about your planned conference.

Costs incurred include for example:

  • interpreters' fees
  • daily allowance
  • travel time allowance for travel to and from the conference
  • travel costs
  • VAT

Contract
Individual contracts are concluded directly between the interpreter and the organiser for the corresponding total sum. There are no hidden commissions. The organisation fee for the interpreter advising you on the conference organisation is billed separately.

Important!
As for all services provided on a freelance basis the costs of interpretation can vary significantly depending on how and where the conference is organised. The number of interpreters and the number of days worked will have an impact on the cost; a further factor is whether the interpreters live near the conference venue or have to travel from elsewhere.

Remember the technical equipment!
If you are planning a conference with simultaneous interpretation, please don't forget to rent the simultaneous equipment, i.e.the booths, loudspeakers and other technical material.
