Guarantee of quality

Interpreters qualify to join the association by meeting the requirements of a strict admissions procedure.
They must demonstrate several years of professional experience as a conference interpreter before they can apply to join. At least three experienced colleagues, who have themselves been full members for at least five years, vouch for the applicant. These colleagues have appraised the applicant's linguistic skills and professional approach while working at conferences together with the applicant. The strict selection criteria aiic applies ensure high-quality interpretation.
